The Story Behind the Design
A granary holds grain through winter — silently, steadily, asking for nothing in return. We see parents the same way: a quiet shelter, a steady presence, carrying everything without fanfare. And like grain nestled safely inside, a child grows warm and strong within that embrace.
Clothing, too, is a kind of embrace. With every stitch, we wanted to wrap that feeling of being held — the softness, the warmth, the unhurried love of autumn — into something a child can wear.
What Makes This Set Special
The Silhouette
A three-piece layered look: a short banbi jacket (a traditional Chinese cropped outer layer), a flowing blouse, and relaxed harem pants. The cut draws from neo-Chinese tailoring — structured enough to feel dressed-up, soft enough for a child to run, climb, and play in all day.
The Color
Coral orange and warm red — inspired by ripe persimmons hanging on autumn branches and the jewel tones of split-open pomegranates. Colors that feel like sunlight filtering through golden leaves.
The Fabric
The banbi jacket is woven in intricate jacquard brocade — rich in texture, yet smooth and comfortable against the skin. The blouse blends viscose, Tencel™, and linen — all-natural fibers chosen for their softness and breathability. The harem pants use a lightweight jacquard that moves beautifully with every step.
The Pattern
Classical baoxianghua — a treasured floral medallion motif rooted in Tang and Song dynasty art — arranged in lush, overlapping clusters that evoke the abundance of an autumn harvest.
