A Note from the Designer
I’m Jiang Shuo — a PhD designer, an educator, and a mother of two. The reason I founded Little Hanfu is simple: I wanted children to wear beauty before they can even define it. To let Chinese kids grow up dressed in their own culture, and to let the world see that childhood can be beautifully rooted.
Over the past nine years we have walked 25 fashion weeks, produced more than 2,000 designs, and staged 300+ dedicated shows across China and abroad. What matters more than the numbers is the light in a child’s eyes the moment they put on a hanfu — a quiet confidence that only culture can give.
As a mother, I believe clothing is how families pass love and taste from one generation to the next — a child’s first classroom for beauty, and the softest place for heritage to live inside daily life. Our work is to keep the essence and renew the form, so hanfu becomes something kids actually love wearing every day.
